Lombardi Associates represented ACF Fiorentina before FIFA and CAS in the proceedings initiated against the Egyptian player Mohamed Salah Ghalyand the English club Chelsea FC.

Salah joined Fiorentina on loan from Chelsea in January 2015 for the remainder of the 2014/2015 football season. Fiorentina claimed compensation for breach of contract following the Egyptian winger’s re-registration with Chelsea FC and the subsequent move to AS Roma on loan for the 2015/2016 football season in a deal which later became permanent.

FIFA dismissed the claim of ACF Fiorentina and this decision was confirmed by CAS.
