Anton Sotir’s contribution reviews sports law in Ukraine, and in particular the system of formation of sport clubs, the relationships between professional sports and labour law, antitrust law and taxation. Also, the chapter contains a description of the dispute resolution system, which highlights the issues of access to courts, sports arbitration and enforceability.
Organisation of sports events in Ukraine, specifically the relationship between organiser and spectator, athletes and clubs, and liability of the organisers, athletes and spectators takes a separate stage at the Chapter.
Finally, author addressed the issue of riot prevention in Ukraine, issue of antidoping, betting, match fixing, grey market sales.
