Earlier this year Lombardi Associates successfully represented Italian coach Adolfo Sormani before the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
The case centered on the enforcement of a decision of the Players’ Status Committee and the Qatari club Al Arabi’s refusal to comply with this. This case highlights that nothing other than full compliance with a FIFA decision is sufficient in order to avoid a violation of art.64 of the FIFA Disciplinary Code.
